Eleni studied conducting with Karolos Trikolidis between 2004-2007 and completed her musical studies in classical percussion at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki in 2009 (Diploma in Percussion – “Excellent, 1st Prize and Gold Medal”). From 2006, she started studying the Alexander Technique, at the International Summer Academy Mozarteum (Salzburg, Austria) and impressed by the effectiveness of the method in relation to chronic practice-related tendonitis and pain, she continued her studies in Germany and later in Britain.

In 2012, she completed three years of professional training and received her certification in the Alexander Technique at the London Centre for Alexander Technique and Teacher Training. As part of her internship, she had the opportunity to teach music students at the Royal College of Music, as well as actors at the Arts Educational School London, an experience that led her to focus on teaching the Alexander Technique to musicians and performing artists.

In 2014, Eleni founded the school “Consciência Corporal para Músicos” (Body Awareness for Musicians) in São Paulo, Brazil, and acts as its director to this day. The main goal of the school is the refinement of kinesthetic awareness, so that musicians, regardless of level or music genre, can access a more harmonious and effortless relationship to the instrument, to music-making and to their artistic expression.

In Brazil, she is frequently invited to conduct workshops, educational programs and lectures at universities, music schools and cultural organizations such as Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Escola de Música do Estado de São Paulo (EMESP) and SESC.

In 2014, Eleni presented the Alexander Technique at the World Conference of Music Education in Porto Alegre, Brazil (ISME 2014) and in 2016 she taught Masterclasses in the Alexander Technique at the Mozarteum International Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria.

Since 2017 she is a member of the faculty of “Total Vocal Freedom”, an international program based in the United States of America, dedicated to the application of the Alexander Technique for singers.

Since 2019, Eleni has been actively involved in the training of Alexander Technique teachers.

In 2020 Eleni completed four years of study at the Department of Physiotherapy at the Universidade Nove de Julho in São Paulo and continues in lifelong learning and deepening her understanding of the use, structure and function of the human body and mind through the study of Osteopathy.
